Tonight I let you go,
Not because my heart no longer Adores you so,
no, no, its for the love of another,
The One who holds us both so close.
I sit and cry, He listens and holds,
and He always asked,
"Will you let her Go"
Trust me and know,
As, you let her go,
That soon, like Abraham
a new love will be close at hand.
Than soon, I will restore,
but you must let go,
and soon I will release your heart to love,
For then you will only see me.
So my son, let go,
and let me hold,
let your love go into me,
and my pierced heart will contain thee.

A Winter Rose
A Rose Bloomed Once,
A long time Ago,
Upon the rain of love,
Did this Rose grow.
Its smell so Sweet,
And color so bright,
That it shown,
and pierced the Dark night,
But Oh! Sweet tragedy,
That rose did die,
my soul lamenting to see it go,
but with great vigor, somthing else begain to take hold.
The winds did blow,
and my heart seemed froze,
like the little rose below.
The night did set,
and the moon thus rose,
its rays reflecting
of sweet purities snow.
How i longed to see that rose,
but purity has a way of protecting its own,
and i stopped and looked, and saw
purity had been protecting my own Rose.
So I must wait,
and settle my soul,
until spring, however long
To share my own, winter rose.
