My Jesus,
My love is not profound-
my love is very simple.
My faith is not profound-
my faith is very simple.
My song is not profound-
my song is very simple.
My prayer is not profound-
my prayer is very simple.
My Jesus,
I am very simple. I thank You for mercifully instilling simplicity in my soul and heart, for if I even barely grasped Your depth, O God, I would not be who You have created me to be- a simple child.
You are so profound, my God!
And oh, so very simple!
Darling Heart of all Simplicity, I love you. I beg you to bestow upon me the garment of profound simplicity, that I may never see myself or anyone else in any way but the way You see me, and the way You see them. May my love be simple and constant. Amen.

Our Souls are Anchored in The Lord.
There are just some people who you look at and know that they are special, that no words can explain them. Then by some crazy chance, you're given the opportunity to learn about that person, to grow in faith with them. Then you start feeling like a robber because you feel like you are gaining so much more than you're giving. Then you start finding yourself thinking about them all the time, and smiling to yourself when everyone else is frowning and asking, “why are you smiling?” and you don’t say a thing but instead just shake your head because you know they won't understand. Then you start remembering her eyes, and the heart starts to beat faster even when you're sitting alone and not doing any activity... Yet one part remains completely silent- the Soul. The soul is the quiet steady ship in storm, and when finally all is quiet, when all alone and contemplating about the Lord, the other is molded into Jesus Christ. This is ultimately what we must find in one another- Jesus; and we must strive to bring Jesus Christ to the others by the empty vessel which we all are. So the heart may race, the smiles may come, but our souls are the anchor which are cast out into the grace of God, and where all relationships must remain, Firmly anchored in Him.
